This
is the wisdom of the devotional-study-service process instituted in the
worldwide Baha'i community during the past 14 years:
"In 1952, Margaret Sears went on Pilgrimage in the presence of Shoghi Effendi. When she came back she was a changed woman. Her attitude was different. Shoghi Effendi said one night at the dining table, 'In the future the negative forces will become more and more powerful. The negative forces will be like a hurricane storming and you must find your way to the center of the hurricane. Many believers will be swept away. You must find your way to the center where it is quiet and it is calm. And the faith you had one day will not be sufficient for the next day. You must constantly deepen or you will be at the mercy of those storming negative forces.'"

Hello, A friend texted me this tonight. Googled and found your post mentioning Mrs. Sears. Thank you for posting her pilgrim's note.
ReplyDeleteCould you tell us the source. This does not appear in Marguerite Sear's pilgrim's notes, and the year is incorrect for her pilgrimage, as well as her name being wrong. So who is speaking here?"
